Chapter 4

I tried to get a job yesterday. The manger at Best Buy was interested in me, but I do not have any blue robes. I wear only red robes because I conjure spells. Blue robes are only worn by wizards and witches that use potions. Besides, if the manager at Target didn't like my robe, I doubt that the manager at Best Buy will like my robe. Especially because it is not blue.

After I got back home from the city, I took my usual walk through the park. A man came up and talked to me about my staff. He seemed knowledgeable, but he might have been just making things up. You never know around Watershed Heights.

I tried to practice after my talk, but I just didn't have it in me yesterday. I think that I really need a job. The rent is due in a week and I barely have enough to pay for it after I spent most of my latest pay check on a necklace that Merlin is said to have worn.

Creating my own castle is way beyond my skills. Maybe in a few years.
